Made to Order
All ZUMBO items are made by hand once you place your order. We don't hold any inventory, so your piece is made especially for you. Each pillow is individually handcrafted by our masterful artisans in New York City. Nothing is stocked. Nothing is wasted.
We are not currently able to make changes to the styles listed on the site.
We do not currently offer custom design services.
We offer a grace period of 24 hours to cancel your order after it's been placed. Once the grace period has passed, your order cannot be cancelled as your item goes straight into production, making certain you receive it as soon as possible.
Fabric cuttings are available for color and quality approval. A maximum of 4 colors are offered complimentary per customer. Swatch size is approximately 1.5” wide by 3” long. Click here for swatches.
Shipping
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be processed and ready for shipment. Once shipped, delivery to a US address takes approximately 2-5 business days (we will provide tracking information upon shipment).
We do not offer a rush service at this time. Your pillows will ship as quickly as possible, within 4 weeks of payment.
Shipping fees will be added to your order total during checkout and are non-refundable.
Shipping fees on approved returns will also be at your own expense. Insurance and tracking through a reputable shipper are recommended, as ZUMBO is not responsible for loss or damages to return shipments.
At the moment we do not offer international shipping, including to Canada and Mexico.
Return and Exchange
Returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt. You must notify us before attempting a return in order to get authorization and the proper return address.
For a return to be accepted, pillows must be in their unused and and original condition, and must show no wear, damage, or scent. No smoke, fragrance, or pet hair will be accepted.
Refunds will be made upon inspection of items to the original form of payment. A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Pillows are not able to be exchanged as we do not keep any stock. Each pillow is made to order. If you want a different pillow, you will need to return the one purchased, and then place a new order.

Product Care
ZUMBO pillows are professional dry clean only.
We also recommend a regular light vacuuming with an upholstery attachment or a light brushing with a standard lint brush to maintain the velvet from collecting dust and particles.
The BIANCA styles, which have attached chains, will need to be hand dry cleaned as the chains will be damaged if machine tumbled.
No, please do not carry or hold the BIANCA pillows by the chains. They are purely decorative and are not functional. The chains are attached to the pillows by small ribbons, not made to hold the weight of the pillow.
Other
Our pillow inserts are made of a 100% polyester down-alternative, also called a “gel microfiber”. This alternative is hypoallergenic and simulates the plush and full feel of down without the lumps that can be caused by feather quills.
The insert shell is made of a densely woven, "fiber-proof" cotton. This quality keeps the fill from migrating to the outside of the pillow.
Inserts are also made to order in New York City.
Our velvet is made by the most renowned Italian velvet mill and is primarily used for luxury upholstery. The velvet is densely woven for minimal color change regardless of pillow direction, giving it a rich, deep, and consistent coloring.
Zumbo is an Italian name that is pronounced "ZOOM-boh".
